For the second edition of JNA (National Artists’ Day), my friend Brigitte Morel will welcome me into her little red shop to exhibit my work alongside hers.

There, you’ll discover part of my ink series, My lil' zinzins, and my watercolor series, Lilliput’s Land, along with a few portraits, as well as Brigitte’s ceramics, cyanotypes, and paintings.

I’m really looking forward to it, as this will be the very first time I’ll be exhibiting My lil' zinzins and my portraits, and only the second time for Lilliput’s Land (I’ve only shown three pieces from that series before, at the group exhibition PostCard Size at the Openbach Galerie in Vincennes). I started this series in 2022, but I began using this format and watercolor technique in January of this year.

I began My lil' zinzinz in the summer of 2024 during the Olympics.

As for the live portraits, I started them in June 2025 during the “Drawing is Free” Zoom sessions. They’re quick sketches, lasting just the time it takes to listen to a song.

The event will take place on Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. La petite boutique rouge is located at 5 Passage de l’Ancre, in the Marais district of Paris. The Passage de l’Ancre is a charming, leafy oasis right in the heart of Paris. The event gallery is here.

You’re all welcome.
